What makes reflections in water even better? — When they have lily pads floating on them. This is absolutely one of my favorite subjects to paint. These lily ponds were such a surprise and delight to find at Vallarta Botanical gardens. There’s a certain kind of magic in nature hiding in these ponds. I try to bring that magic to my pond paintings.
