Return To Meadow is painted from photos taken while hiking on a trail and coming across the old Sawmill golf course, which in the passing of time has returned to nature. It’s interesting to see the remnants of old fairways— now turned into meadows, and grasses, no longer manicured, naturalized among the trees. The story of shadows and light are primarily told in the warm and cool greens— my favorite color.
