Taken Back was painted from a photo taken while hiking out on the Gateway trail and taking a little detour to explore the old Sawmill golf course—which has been taken back by Mother Nature a number of years ago. I wanted this painting to be a celebration of nature and of the color green! I just scratched the surface of my favorite color — green.
