Sunflowers for Ukraine was the last painting I finished during my 5 weeks in Puerto Vallarta this winter. As Ukraine was being invaded, fear, sadness, and helplessness filled my mind. I decided to participate in the Sunflower challenge— artists around the world were painting and posting sunflowers. It was a beautiful thing to see sunflowers filling social media. Creating and sharing is always a good idea—to lift spirits of both creator and viewer.
